Booking Tags and Contact Tags

Tags allow you to improve your customer organisation and bookings in Cademy. With the categorisation by keywords, so-called tags, you keep track of all your customers and sort bookings in a certain way.

Table of Contents:

How do I Create / Assign a Tag?

How to create a tag from the settings?

The first option is to go to Admin -> Settings -> Tags and click on +New Tag. A new window will pop up from where you can add tag name, colour and internal descriptions.

Who to create/assign a booking tag from the bookings?

Go to Admin -> Bookings or any of your courses and click on any bookings, and a side sheet will open, find the Booking tag field where you can select or type to create a new tag.

After you add a specific tag to your course, you will immediately notice a small tag label on your bookings. You will see the tag name if you hover the mouse over it.

Who to create/assign a contact tag from the contacts?

Go to your Admin Dashboard and click on Contacts. Under the contact name, you have the Tags field where you can select an existing tag or type it to Create a new one.

After you add a specific tag to your contact, you will notice the assigned to this contact on your contacts page.

Also, if you open any booking sheet, you will be able to quickly see the tags assigned for contact and for booking on the same sheet.

How to assign/remove tag contacts in bulk?

Go to your Admin Dashboard and click on Contacts. You will see your contacts list with a tick box in front of each one. You can select one by one you are interested in or check the top left check box that will select all the contacts on this page. If you click on Click Here, that will select all your contacts from all the pages.

After you select the contact, click on the Tag button, and a side sheet will open with the option to Add Tags or Remove Tags from selected contacts.

How to Edit / Remove a Booking Tag

When in your Admin dashboard, click on Settings -> Tags -> after you click on the Gear icon, you will have the option to rename or delete the tag.

❗️Remember, you can not delete tags that are assigned to bookings.

Booking Tags

You can use booking tags to “categorise” your bookings, for example, to see at a glance which bookings have special requests or have been moved from another date.

How to Filter Booking by Tag

Depending on your scenario, the Filter will make your tags extremely useful for your bookings. For example, if you want to quickly view your bookings that have been moved from another date, follow these steps.

When in your course dashboard, click on Filter -> Where Booking Tags -> equals -> Booking moved from another date -> Apply.

More than that, you can save this Filter as a View so you can access what you are interested in seconds. Let's create a View that will show any bookings with any tags:

When in your course dashboard:

  1. Click on Filter

-> Where Tags -> is set -> Apply

-> Click on the green Save Filter button

-> Save as a new View

  2. Click on Unnamed View

-> Click on the three dots menu

-> Under the View Name, you can set your preferred name

-> Click on Update View Name

From now, on any course, you will be able to quickly jump from All Bookings to Bookings with tags or any other Filter View saved by you that suits your scenario.

Contact Tags

Assign tags to organise your work with contacts. You will be able to filter contacts according to specific criteria to find the contacts you need faster and individual work with each group.

How to Filter Contacts by Tag

Go to your Contacts page from your Admin Dashboard, click on Filter -> Where Contact Tags -> equals -> Webinar lead (example) -> Apply

As for the Bookings, you can save this Filter as a View so you can access what you are interested in seconds. To do that, follow the following steps:

  1. Click on Filter

-> Where Contact Tags -> equals -> Your tag -> Apply

-> Click on the green Save Filter button

-> Save as a new View

  2. Click on Unnamed View
