Course Collections on Cademy allow you to effectively group your courses by categories like topic, location, or date, simplifying course discovery for customers. By adding detailed descriptions to these collections, you can provide more context and clarity about the courses you offer.
Create a Course Collection
Creating a course collection is straightforward. You can do it either through the Settings menu or directly from an existing course. Here's how:
From Settings
Go to your "Admin Dashboard".
Select "Settings".
Click on "Course Collections".
Click on "+ New Collection" and enter a name for your collection.
From an Existing Course
Go to your "Admin Dashboard".
Click to open an existing course from the "Courses" page.
To access the course settings, click on "Edit Course".
Click on "Share" tab and then choose or add your new collection in the "Course Collections" section.
Add Courses to Your Course Collection
You can add courses to your collection either from the course collection settings or directly from each course.
From Course Collections Settings
Go to your "Admin Dashboard".
Select "Settings".
Click on "Course Collections".
Open an existing collection or create a new one.
Choose "Select a course" to add courses.
From an Existing Course
Go to your "Admin Dashboard".
Click to open an existing course from the "Courses" page.
To access the course settings, click on "Edit Course".
Click on "Share" tab
Select an existing course collection from the dropdown menu in the "Course Collections" section.

Choose an image for your collection or let Cademy generate a default one.
In 'Settings', go to 'Course Collections'.
Open or create a collection.
Click 'Select Image' to choose or upload an image.
Save your collection.
Change Display Layout
You can highlight your collections in a more prominent grid layout or retain the default carousel format. Here's how to select your preferred layout:
Access your admin dashboard.
Click on the 'Profile' menu on the left.
Select 'Profile Page Options'.
Under 'Collections Layout', choose between 'Carousel' and 'Grid'.
Adding Detailed Descriptions to Course Collections
Enhance your course collection with detailed descriptions:
Access 'Settings' in your Admin portal.
Click on 'Course Collections'.
Select to edit an existing collection or create a new one.
Add a detailed description to your course collection.
Share and Embed Course Collection
Share Your Collection
Cademy will provide you with a direct link to your Course Collections, which you can use to share them with attendees or promote them. Follow these steps to find the direct link for your course collection:
Navigate to Cademy - Admin.
Access the Settings section.
Select Course Collections.
Choose an existing Course Collection or create a new one.
Click the Share button.
Embed Your Collection
You can create separate collections that can be embedded on your web pages, independent from all courses.
Navigate to Cademy - Admin.
Access the Apps section.
Open Cademy Embeds.
In the "Courses to embed" section, choose the Specific list of courses option.
Select a Course Collection from the available list.
Copy the provided code and paste it onto the desired location of your page to embed the booking system with the chosen course collection.
Embed Courses from other Cademy profiles
Cademy provides the option to embed not just your courses, but also collections of courses from all educators listed on Cademy, on your website.
To do this, follow these steps:
Go to Cademy - Admin.
Click on Settings.
Click on Course Collections.
Open any of the existing Course Collections or create a new one.
Under the "Add courses" section, select the "Courses from other Cademy accounts" option.
Paste Course URLs from any Cademy course provider.
Click on Save Collection.
Once you have added the desired courses to the course collection, you can proceed with embedding it on your website by following the steps mentioned above.
