Introduction
System admins can now change a course type without starting from scratch. You can switch between types like Class, Blended, On-Demand, and On-Request, depending on booking status.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Go to the course in your admin dashboard.
Click Edit Course.
Go to the Settings page.
Click Advanced Settings.
Find Change Course Type.
Pick a new type from the dropdown.
Confirm changes in the popup.
If there are bookings or orders:
You can't change the course type directly if there are existing bookings or orders. You will see this message:
"This course has existing bookings or orders and cannot have its type changed. Please clone the course and change the type on the cloned version."
To proceed:
Click the three dots on the course card to open the dropdown menu.
Click Duplicate.
Set a new name and click Clone.
You will be automatically redirected to the cloned course dashboard.
Change the type on the cloned course.
The original course will remain unchanged with its bookings and orders.
