Give Course Feedback and Manage Your Review

Send course feedback, choose how your name appears publicly, and find out how to correct feedback or remove your review.

Written by Artur Binzaru

This guide is for learners who want to give feedback about a course or course provider. It covers the feedback form opened from a personal request email, a feedback form inside an online lesson, and Add Review on a course page or the provider’s Reviews page.

Your course provider is the organisation or person running your course. They choose the form’s questions and whether it includes a Public Review. The form usually ends with Send Feedback, although the provider can change that button’s wording. If your page looks different, follow its displayed instructions or ask the course provider for help.

A personal feedback link can be used without logging in. Add Review on a public page needs you to log in to your Cademy account; see Log In and Find Courses You Are Attending or Bookings You Made. Before you send, read Choose what is shown publicly.

Send feedback from your request email

  1. Open the feedback request sent by your course provider.

  2. Select the feedback button or link in that email. You do not need to log in when it is your personal feedback-request link.

  3. Check the course and provider shown on the form. A dated course also shows its date.

  4. Answer the questions. Complete any required questions.

  5. If the form has a Public Review section, select the required overall star rating. Add a written review or optional category ratings if you want to. Show my name on the public review starts ticked: leave it ticked to show your full name, or untick it to show your first name and last initial.

  6. Select the button at the bottom of the form. It normally says Send Feedback, but your provider can change the wording. Wait for the Thank You message confirming your answers were sent.

Complete any missing required answers if the form asks you to. Other submission errors appear above the form. Thank You means your answers were sent; it does not mean the public review is already visible or that a confirmation email will arrive.

The link is for your own response. Do not forward it for somebody else to complete. Logging in to a different account does not change whose feedback that link records. If the course or person is wrong, ask the course provider for the correct link.

Send feedback inside a lesson

If your course provider has put a feedback form in a lesson, complete it there. You do not need a separate request email.

  1. Open your online course content using Find Course Dates, Locations, Joining Instructions and Content. Then open the lesson containing the form.

  2. Answer the questions and select the form’s submit button. Wait for the saved response showing your answers and submission date.

  3. Complete any other required lesson activities, then select Complete & Continue, or Mark as Completed in the final lesson.

Submitting feedback does not complete the lesson by itself. If the same form appears again for your place on the course, Cademy shows the saved response. You cannot edit or submit it again from the lesson.

Review a course or provider from its public page

  1. Open the course’s public page and find its Reviews section, or open the provider’s public Reviews page.

  2. Select Add Review.

  3. If asked, log in to your Cademy account. Use the account linked to your booking. Log In and Find Courses You Are Attending or Bookings You Made explains how to log in.

  4. Complete the displayed form and select its submit button.

Some courses accept reviews only from people who have a place on them. For those courses, Cademy looks for an active or completed place on that course under the account you are logged in with. You do not need to be marked as attended. A review of the provider itself does not have this requirement.

If Add Review is missing and you are not logged in, log in with the account linked to your booking and return to the course page. A course limited to people with a place on it hides the button while you are logged out, and shows it only when the account you log in with has a place on that course. The provider may also have stopped collecting public reviews or removed the Reviews section. If it is still unavailable, use your feedback email link or ask the course provider how to leave feedback.

Choose what is shown publicly

In this example, the address bar shows a demonstration address.

  • The Public Review section, marked May be shown publicly: your course provider can publish these answers as your review, either immediately or after approving it. A review you have sent may therefore not be visible yet.

  • Your other answers: your course provider can read them, but they are not shown in your public review.

The overall rating is required when the Public Review section is shown. It uses 1 to 5 stars and normally asks How would you rate the course?, or How would you rate your experience? for feedback about the provider. Written review text is optional. Some forms also show optional category ratings.

Choose the name shown on your public review:

  • Show my name on the public review starts ticked. Leave it ticked to show your full name.

  • Untick it to show your first name and last initial, such as “Alex M.”.

If the Public Review section is absent, you can still answer the form’s other questions. If it is present, you cannot skip the required overall star rating and send only the other answers. Ask the course provider if you want to give feedback without a public review.

Your feedback is not anonymous. Your course provider can still see who sent it.

Verified means Cademy can match the review to a course registration. It does not mean Cademy checked what the review says or confirmed that the person attended. A Cademy review without that match is labelled Unverified.

Correct feedback or remove your review

You cannot edit a submitted feedback form. If it shows Feedback Already Sent, the provider has already received your answers. Contact the course provider if an answer needs correcting.

  1. To remove your own published review, log in with the Cademy account that submitted it.

  2. Open the course or provider’s public Reviews page and find your review. On a course page, use Show All with the displayed count if needed. On the provider’s Reviews page, use Load more when it is offered to find older reviews.

  3. Select the Delete review bin beside it.

  4. Select Delete to confirm, or Cancel to keep the review. After deletion, the page reloads and the review no longer appears.

This takes your review off the public page. Deleting it does not mean you can fill in the feedback form again. It also does not delete the feedback you sent: your course provider still has your answers.

If you cannot find the review or the bin, contact the course provider. Include the course name and the email address used for your booking.

If the form will not open or submit

  • Feedback Already Sent: a response is already recorded for this form. This includes answers you sent for the same form inside a lesson. Contact the course provider if it needs correcting.

  • This feedback form is no longer open: the provider has closed it. Contact them if you still need to respond.

  • A message saying only attendees can leave a review: check that you used the account linked to your course booking. If it still does not work, contact the course provider.

  • Missing or unavailable page: ask the course provider to check the link. A deleted form or incorrect link can cause this; it does not always mean the link expired.

  • Answers will not submit: complete the required questions and read any error shown above the form. If the problem continues, tell the course provider what the message says.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use someone else’s feedback email link?
No. A personal link belongs to that participant. Ask the course provider for your own link. Logging in to your account does not change the person that link records feedback for.

Do I need to log in?
A personal feedback-request link does not require login. A feedback form inside a lesson is completed in your online course content. Add Review on a public course or provider page requires login.

Can I give feedback without a public review?
Yes, when the provider’s form does not include the Public Review section. If it appears, its overall star rating is required. Ask the course provider if you want to give feedback without a public review.

Does hiding my full name make the feedback anonymous?
No. Unticking Show my name on the public review shows your first name and last initial on the public review. Your course provider can still see who sent it.

Why is my review not visible after I send it?
The provider may need to approve it, may have hidden it, or may not show Reviews on that page. Thank You confirms that your answers were sent, not that the review is public.

Can I review a course without booking it?
Only if the course provider allows it. You still need to log in. Where the provider accepts reviews only from people with a place on the course, you need an active or completed place on it.

Does Verified prove attendance?
No. Cademy has matched the review to a course registration. That does not prove the person attended or that Cademy checked what they wrote.

Can I edit my answers after sending them?
You cannot edit a submitted feedback form yourself. Contact the course provider with the course name, the email address used for your booking and the correction you need.

Does deleting my review delete all my feedback?
No. It takes the review off the public page. Your course provider still has the answers you sent, and you cannot fill in the same form again.
