Every time someone interacts with you, such as when they message or book with you, we create a contact for that person. When a new booking is made using the same email or phone number, we automatically link that record to the existing contact. This allows you to keep track of all your students and their interactions with you from a single place.
Table of Contents:
Contacts section
The contacts section is where all your contacts will be listed. You can navigate the table using the numbers and arrows at the bottom left side of the screen. You can also change how many contacts are shown at once using the Items Per Page dropdown at the bottom right.
Searching contacts
You can search your contacts by name or email using the search input at the top left side of the table.
Change layout
You can select which columns are shown in the table by selecting them from the Layout dropdown at the top right side of the table.
Emailing contacts
Once you select one or more contacts, you will see the option to Email them using the button at the top right side of the page. There's a separate article on emailing contacts, so if you're looking to learn more, visit this page: π¨Sending Emails
Contact page
The contact page allows you to see all your interactions with a student. You can see all courses they booked, emails sent to them, requests, enquiries, and more.
Contact fields
On the left side, you will see the contact fields. These allow you to see and edit the contact's details, such as name, email, phone or any other field. By default, contact will only have the name, email, phone, address and marketing consent fields. If you need to keep track of other details about your contact, such as their "Date of Birth" or "Accessibility requirements" you can create your own custom fields. To find out more about contact fields visit this page: πContact fields
Activity
All contact activity is shown in the middle section of the contact page. You can see the payment status of bookings, delivery state of emails and more. You can filter the activity by type using the tabs at the top of the activity feed.
Notes
You can add notes to your contacts to keep track of any special requests, needs or any other internal reminders. Create new notes using the + New Note button. You can also click on any existing note to edit or delete it.
Viewing contacts
The contacts page is not the only route to the contact record. From the Bookings page, you can click on the contact's name (first column) in the table to be taken to the contact page rather than the booking record. You can also access the contact by clicking on the contact name or avatar at the top of any booking record.
Creating contacts
From the Contacts page, you can click the + New Contact button at the top right to see a new side-sheet appear on the right. You will see all your contact fields and you will be able to enter the contact's details and create a brand new contact.
