Throughout Cademy, you'll be able to see the option to search, filter, and sort your data.
Views
A view is a quick way to save a filter or sorting condition. It allows you to create a set of shortcuts to quick and common searches you tend to do frequently.
For example, you can create a "View" that shows courses with a specific owner, or courses only delivered in a particular way like in-person. Another common example is creating a "Contact View" for contacts that have given marketing consent for easy searching & emailing.
The are several default system views Cademy offers by default. For example, bookings will have "Active Bookings" and "All Bookings" views by default. Active bookings will exclude all the cancelled and abandoned bookings on your course.
Courses will have a system view for viewing all "Archived" courses - making it easy to find courses you've deleted.
You can rename your "View" if you click on the ...
three dots to the right of the view name in the pop-up.
π‘ Pro Tip:
Views stay selected as you navigate across the system. This means that if you create a view filter or sort bookings if a specific way, as you navigate through the system and look at different courses, the applied view will always persist.
How to sort bookings
By default, bookings are sorted by booking date, in an ascending order. This means that the latest bookings will be shown at the bottom of the page.
To change the sort condition, click the sort button and select the preferred requirements for sorting.
Don't forget that you can save the created filter as a "View" to quickly apply this sorting preference in the future.
How to sort courses
By default, courses are sorted by date when they were created.
To sort courses by name, level, price more, use the Sort button.
How to sort contacts
By default, contacts are sorted by date created. New contacts will always appear on the first page when you navigate into the Contacts section.
You can sort contacts by any property or custom contact field you created on your account.
Filter
The Filter function allows you to filter your contacts/bookings/courses based on flexible set of conditions.
You can use our filter builder to search your data using very detailed and flexible conditions. You choose a field in the system you want to filter by, then select a condition (such as equals
, contains
, is set
, etc), and then the value to use for the search.
π‘ Pro Tip:
You can group and nest your conditions to create advanced logic in your filter groups.
