The following section plays a significant role when customers look for the course by category or level on Cademy's marketplace.

Pricing

Choose from four pricing options to best suit your course offering:

Free

Price on Enquiry

Standard Enquiry

Students can inquire about the price, allowing for negotiation or tailored pricing based on specific needs.

Set Starting Price

This price will not be visible to customers and will only be used as a reference when sorting listings by price on the Cademy marketplace.

Show the Customer a Price Range

Provide a range of prices to give students an idea of the potential cost. This can reflect variations in location, duration, or other customisable aspects of the course.

Set Pricing

  • Price Offers: Create special offers or discounts to attract students. You can set time-limited offers or discounts for specific groups.

  • Add-ons: Offer additional services or materials at an extra cost. Add-ons allow students to customise their learning experiences, such as purchasing supplementary materials or products.

Duration

You can set the duration of your course in minutes, hours, days or weeks. You can also add multiple durations to let the customer choose their duration and customise the different prices for each individual.

Default Duration

List the standard course duration.

Custom Duration

Offer multiple durations ranging from minutes to weeks.

Delivery options

Delivery options serve two essential purposes:

  1. Information and Communication: The delivery methods will be reflected on the course page, both under the course highlights and when completing the inquiry form. This ensures that students are well-informed about how the course will be conducted.

  2. Enhancing Discoverability: The most crucial purpose of defining delivery methods is to enhance the discoverability of your course on the Cademy marketplace. By clearly specifying whether the course is online or in-person and providing details about in-person delivery, you make it easier for potential students to find and select your course based on their preferences and needs.

By offering these diverse delivery methods and understanding their dual purpose, you can cater to a wide range of students' preferences and needs while also improving the visibility and attractiveness of your course on the Cademy platform.

Set how the course can be delivered: in-person, online, or to be agreed upon later. You can give some price examples to choose from for customers.

Choose how you'll run the course from the following delivery options:

Online

  • Conduct the course entirely online, allowing students from various locations to participate. Ideal for webinars, virtual workshops, or pre-recorded sessions.

In-person

  • Offer a traditional classroom experience with face-to-face interaction.

Customer Comes to Me:

  • You'll host the course at a specific location.

  • Address Requirement: You must add an address here that will be shown on the course page and in the booking confirmation email.

I Will Travel to the Customer

  • Provide the flexibility of delivering the course at a location convenient for the student.

  • Three specific travel options are available:

    1. Happy to Travel UK Wide: Willing to travel anywhere within the United Kingdom.

    2. Happy to Travel Internationally: Open to international travel to conduct the course.

    3. Only Allow Requests Within These Cities: Limit travel to specific cities or regions. These cities will not be visible to customers and will only be used as a reference when sorting listings by location on the Cademy marketplace.

Forms

When someone orders a course on Cademy, they will be asked to provide their name, email address, and phone number. This ensures we can send them a confirmation email after their purchase. Generally, the default booking form is sufficient for most course providers. However, if you need to collect additional information, such as the student's address, age, or accessibility requirements, you can create a custom booking form and then apply it to the courses you want to use it for.

Emails

If you want to change what the automated confirmation email on the back of the order looks like, or if you find yourself sending the same email repeatedly to your contacts - you need to know how Email Templates work. An "Email Template" is the base email we use in situations like automated booking confirmations.

Course Owners

This option is beneficial when several course providers deliver certain courses or for specific groups of people with specific responsibilities. This way, only the course owners will receive email notifications about the assigned course.
