Cademy's Zoom integration allows you to easily send the online joining instructions to your customers, as well as easily keep track of your upcoming meetings from within Zoom.
This video will go through the setup and how to use this feature:
Installing Zoom
If you don't have a Zoom account, please set one up before starting this process.
To get started, go into the Educator Admin Console > Apps > and click on the Zoom card. Click the Install
button at the top left. You will be taken to Zoom to authorise the integration. If you're logged in, you should be prompted to authorise the integration between Cademy and Zoom, but you may also be prompted to log into Zoom first if you're not already logged in. Once you authorise the integration from the Zoom side, you should get redirected back to Cademy and a success message should appear at the top of the page. You're done! The integration is fully up and running.
Creating Zoom meetings for classes
When you create or edit a class, and set the delivery method as "Online", you will now have the option to include a "Online Call Join Link". You can enter the link to an existing meeting you have set up, or you can click on the "Create Zoom Link" to set up a new meeting for this class.
Using the Zoom links
Once you create your class, you'll be able to see the zoom link at the top of the course page, under the course name. You can click on the link to launch Zoom or you can click on the copy icon next to the link to copy the URL to your clipboard.
Additionally, the Zoom link will automatically be included in the default booking confirmation emails Cademy will send to the your customers. If you want to include the Zoom link in a custom email template that you created, simply go to the last step of the course builder, click on the Emails option, edit your email template, and add the new "Zoom / Video call join link" mail merge tag into your email.
Using Team / Google Meet / Other services
If you're not a Zoom user, you can manually enter the Join link for any third party service like Microsoft Teams, Join.me, Google Meet, Webex , etc.
Uninstalling the App
To uninstall the Zoom app, go into the App Marketplace console in Zoom , and under the "Installed Apps" section, click the "Uninstall" button next to the Cademy app. Cademy will delete the app and any date associated with it.
