Find the information and actions on a course page after you have a course place. This covers scheduled, on-demand and blended courses, whether you booked the place yourself or somebody else booked it for you.
Course provider: the training company, school or trainer running your course. They control the course dates, venues, joining details, course content, payments and cancellations.
Open the course you are attending
If you are not logged in or cannot find your course, follow Log In and Find Courses You Are Attending or Bookings You Made first.
If you are already logged in:
Select My Account at the top-right of the page.
Select My Courses & Bookings.
Select My Courses.
Under Your Courses, select the course you want to open.
The course opens on Overview. Depending on the course and your role, you may also see Participants or Forum.
Participants is for the person who owns an order with places to manage. Follow Manage Participants and View Their Course Progress and Certificates for those actions.
Forum is available when the course provider has enabled it for the course. Follow Read and Post in Your Course Forum for forum instructions.
Understand the course page and its status
The course header shows the course name and can show a delivery label, your [number]% Complete progress, or a next-session message.
You may also see one of these statuses:
Awaiting Approval - the course provider has not confirmed the booking yet. If you see Your Booking Is Awaiting Approval, wait for the provider to confirm it or contact them if you need an update.
Awaiting Payment - payment is still needed. The page can show Please Complete Payment, View Invoice and Pay Now. Use the actions shown. If a payment action is missing or you need help with payment, contact the course provider.
Cancelled - the page can show Booking Cancelled or Order Cancelled. The cancelled booking or order no longer gives access to the course. Contact the course provider if you think this is wrong.
Not every course shows every badge or action. The information shown depends on its booking, payment, course type and your role.
Find course dates, times and attendance details
Use this section whenever Overview shows Sessions.
Find Sessions.
Check the block name and number of sessions, when shown.
Check the date and time on every session row.
Select a session row to open its full details. The next session may already be open and marked Next.
Check every session you are attending. Sessions in the same course can have different dates, times, venues or online joining links. A completed session says This session has ended.
For an in-person session, the session time uses the venue's timezone. For an online session, the session time uses your local timezone. A hybrid session can show both online joining instructions and an address.
Find the venue or online joining link
For an online session, open the session, find Joining Instructions, then select Join Now.
For an in-person session, open the session, find Address, then select an option under Get Directions if one is available.
For a hybrid session, check both Joining Instructions and Address. The course provider decides whether and how you can attend online or in person.
If a venue, time or joining link is missing, contact the course provider. Cademy does not run the course or create its attendance details.
Add sessions to your calendar
At the top-right of Sessions, select Add to Calendar for one session or Add All to Calendar for several sessions.
Follow the prompt from your browser, device or calendar app.
Adding a session to your calendar does not book, cancel or change your course place.
Start or continue course content
For an on-demand course or the online part of a blended course, the page can show a course-content card and one of these actions:
Start Course - you have not started the course content.
Continue Course - you have started but not completed the course content.
View Course - you have completed the course content and can open it again.
A fully on-demand course normally has course content without fixed sessions. A blended course has both course content and scheduled sessions, so check both parts of the page.
If Course Info or Extra Details appears, check it for the course provider's instructions, files, links or preparation information.
If you see Course Access, the provider hosts the course content elsewhere. Follow the instructions shown there. If they are missing or do not work, contact the course provider.
Check your booking and available actions
If you own the booking or order
The right-hand rail can show Your Order for a current order or Order Summary for an older record. It can include the order or reference number, Placed date, Total paid or Order total, participant count and Access expires.
A current order can also show This course and View Full Order. Select View Full Order to open the order's courses, payments and invoices. Follow Find and Open Orders You Placed or That Were Created for You for the full order page.
If shown, Download Invoice or Download Receipt opens that document. Get Certificate is available only after the course provider issues a certificate.
If you see Cancel Booking, you can cancel only when the course provider allows it, the course has not started or passed, and you are the primary booker. Select Cancel Booking, check Confirm booking cancellation, then select Cancel Booking to continue or Keep Booking to leave it unchanged.
If you see Transfer Your Spot, you can transfer your own place while keeping access to the order as its owner. Follow Manage Participants and View Their Course Progress and Certificates for the conditions and steps.
If somebody else booked the place for you
You are the participant, not the order owner. The right-hand rail shows Registration complete when your details are up to date or Registration incomplete when the provider needs more information.
If Additional details required opens, complete the required fields and select Save. Your email address cannot be changed there. Ask the person who made the purchase or the course provider to correct the email assigned to your place.
Booked By shows the person who manages the participants for that order. You cannot see their order prices, payments, receipts or invoices.
If the page shows a warning such as [number] seat(s) unassigned or [number] participant(s) missing details, select View Participants. Only the order owner can make participant changes.
If information or an action is missing
No Sessions: this can be normal for an on-demand course. Look for Start Course, Continue Course, View Course or Course Access.
No Forum tab: the course provider may not have made a forum available. Contact them if you expected one.
No Participants tab or View Participants: you may be the only participant, every place may already be assigned, or somebody else owns the order. Follow the participant guide for the exact visibility rules.
No Cancel Booking, Transfer Your Spot or payment action: the action may not apply to that booking, may be unavailable after the course starts, or may be controlled by the course provider. Contact the provider if you need a change.
The course is missing from My Courses: make sure you logged in using the email address connected to your course place. Follow the login article if you need to check.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my Zoom, Teams or other online meeting link?
Open the session you are attending and look under Joining Instructions. Select Join Now. If the section is missing or contains no usable link, contact the course provider.
Why do I see Awaiting Payment?
Payment is still required before course access is available. Use View Invoice or Pay Now if shown. If you cannot see a suitable action, contact the course provider.
Why does my page say Registration incomplete?
The course provider needs more information from you. Complete Additional details required and select Save. Your email address stays locked in that form.
Can I cancel my booking from this page?
Only if Cancel Booking is shown and enabled. Cancellation depends on the course provider's rules, whether the course has started, and whether you are the primary booker.
I see course content and Sessions. Which should I use?
Use both. This is a blended course. The course-content action opens the online learning, while Sessions shows when and where to attend the scheduled parts.
Why can I not see the order price or invoice?
You are probably a participant on somebody else's order. The order owner can see prices, payments and invoices. Your own course page still shows your course information and registration status.
I cannot access content hosted on another website. What should I do?
Check the instructions under Course Access. If they are missing or do not work, contact the course provider that runs the course.
