Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) at Cademy
How do I set up my account?
Setting up your account on Cademy is straightforward:
Visit cademy.io or admin.cademy.io.
Click on the "Log In or Sign Up" button, usually located at the top-right corner of the page.
Enter your email. If there's no existing account registered with this email, you'll be prompted to provide basic details like your name, phone number, and a password.
If an account already exists with this email (like a customer account), you'll see an option to "Create an Educator" button.
During this process, you will have the opportunity to add your profile name and set your profile URL. The profile URL will be automatically pre-filled, but you can optionally change it at this stage.
Can I receive payments through Cademy?
Yes, Cademy partners with Stripe, PayPal, and Klarna for secure online payments. You can link your accounts in your Cademy admin dashboard, and payments are deposited directly into your account once an order is placed. Standard processing fees apply.
Does Cademy support monthly instalments?
Yes. Cademy's Monthly Instalments are available on Teams and Custom plans. They split an order into 2 to 12 monthly payments. The first payment is taken at checkout, and the customer pays each later instalment through an emailed payment link. See Monthly Instalments at Checkout.
Can customers use Klarna or PayPal Pay in 3?
Yes, when these payment methods are available at checkout. Klarna and PayPal Pay in 3 let the customer split a full checkout payment with the payment provider. The payment schedule and collection are managed by that provider.
Are there cancellation fees?
No, Cademy does not charge cancellation fees. When an order is cancelled you decide whether to refund in full, refund in part, or hold the amount as credit for the customer - see the Cancellations & Refunds guide.
