Important: Listing your business or services on Cademy is free. Free listings do not incur any platform or payment processing fees. Fees apply only when a payment is processed through the booking system.

Platform Fees
FREE Plan:
Platform Fee: 5% on all payments processed via Cademy’s booking system. This includes transactions through your Cademy minisite or embeds on your own website.
PRO, and TEAMS Plans:
Platform Fee: 0%. Paid plans remove the platform fee entirely, allowing you to keep more of your earnings.
A payment processing fee applies to all plans, regardless of your subscription level.
Payment Processing
Cademy integrates with Stripe, PayPal, and Klarna to securely handle payments. Here’s what you need to know:
Stripe: Standard Stripe fees range from 1.5% to 3.2%. For the most accurate and up-to-date costs, please check Stripe’s website: Stripe Pricing.
PayPal: Standard PayPal fees range from 1.5% to 3.2%. For the most accurate and up-to-date costs, please check PayPal’s website: PayPal Merchant Fees.
Klarna: Klarna instalment payments incur a 4.99% + £0.35 transaction fee. For the most accurate and up-to-date costs, please check Klarna’s website: Klarna Pricing.
In addition to these fees, if you are on the Free plan, Cademy charges a 5% platform fee on all payments processed via our booking system, including payments through your minisite and embeds on your website. Paid plans allow you to reduce this platform fee to 0%.
Important: Payment processing fees cannot be absorbed by the course provider and will always be passed to the customer at checkout. This applies to all transactions, regardless of whether you are on a Free or Paid plan.
Refunds: Processing fees apply to refunds as well. If you issue a refund, the processing fees will be deducted from your payment processor balance. Please consider this in your pricing decisions.
Marketplace Listing and Fees
Listing your business profile or courses on the Cademy Marketplace is completely free. You only incur fees when a payment is made through the platform:
Marketplace Fee: 10% on all bookings made through the Marketplace. This is in addition to any platform fees (if applicable) and payment processing fees.
Important:
FREE Plan Users: All courses are automatically listed on the Marketplace for maximum exposure at no extra cost.
PRO & TEAMS Plan Users: You can hide individual courses or remove all courses from the Marketplace.
Important: Upgrading to a paid plan does not affect your course’s Marketplace visibility. All marketplace listings have equal exposure, whether you are on the Free or a Paid plan.
Understanding Who Should Choose a Paid Plan
Cademy’s PRO and TEAMS plans are designed for course providers who need advanced tools to manage their courses efficiently.
If you use Cademy as your main platform to manage, promote, and sell your courses, a paid plan may be right for you.
Important: Paid plans do not impact your course's visibility in the Cademy Marketplace. All marketplace listings are treated equally, regardless of subscription. If you want more exposure through the Marketplace, the Free plan is sufficient, with only the standard 10% marketplace fee when we bring you customers.

No, any pro features you had enabled previously will not be removed. For example, if you had invoices enabled, they will remain available. If you had more than 2 admin accounts, those will also remain, but consider upgrading to a paid plan if you need to add more admins.

If you’re on the Free plan, your courses will be listed on the Marketplace by default. Paid plan users have the option to hide individual courses or all courses from the Marketplace.

Yes - we partner with Stripe and PayPal to allow you to process online payments quickly and securely. You can easily link your Stripe and PayPal accounts in your Cademy admin dashboard. Payments are deposited directly into your account as soon as an order is placed.

You can allow checkouts by invoice. If the customer chooses to check out by invoice when enrolling, they will receive a PDF invoice with a payment link. If the customer pays using the link, the order will automatically update in Cademy, giving the customer access to the booking or course. Payment processing fees only apply when the customer pays the invoice by Card/PayPal; orders paid by BACS or outside of Cademy do not incur any fees.
