If you run an on-demand or blended course, use Progress to see how far learners have got in a SCORM package. A SCORM package is interactive learning content added to a lesson.
To compare learners on the same package, open the course’s Progress tab. To check one person’s results alongside their lessons, open Progress in their Registration, which is their place on the course. System Admins can see results across the account. Course Owners and Facilitators can see the courses or dates they have access to.
Find SCORM Results in the Course Progress Tab
Sign in to the Cademy Admin dashboard and select Courses.
Open the on-demand or blended course and select Progress. For a blended course, choose a date from the course date list to see only that group. If the list is hidden, select View All Dates to open it. Check which date is highlighted in the list or shown above the tabs. The report uses the registrations you can access. Draft and cancelled registrations are left out.
In the outline on the left, expand the relevant section if needed. Select the SCORM package under its published lesson. Look for the puzzle-piece icon. If the lesson has more than one package, select the one you want to check.
The count beside the package and the Completed filter include learners whose result is Passed. The learner’s row shows their own result. Select the learner’s row to open their Registration.
See SCORM Results for One Blended Course Date
When you select a date on a blended course, the package count, summary, filters and table reflect registrations for that date. Select the same date again to return to the course-wide view.
Filter and Sort SCORM Results
Use Search to find a learner by name or email.
Select a status such as In Progress. Select All to clear the status filter.
Select a progress or score range in the chart to see the matching learners. Select the same range again or use the × on its filter to clear it.
Select a column heading to change the sort. By default, the most recent package activity comes first.
Search changes the table, status counts and summary. Selecting a status or chart range narrows the table. The summary and status counts stay the same. The count beside the package still covers the selected course or date.
What SCORM Progress, Score and Questions Answered Mean
Status shows the saved package result, such as In Progress, Completed, Passed, Failed or Not Started. A Browsed result is included under the In Progress filter.
Progress shows how far through the package the learner is when Cademy can read a percentage from an Articulate Rise package. A package can report Completed below 100%, for example when the learner meets the package’s completion rule before reaching the end. A dash means that learner has no readable percentage.
Questions Answered appears in place of the Progress column when there is no readable percentage for the learners in the selected course or dates. This can also happen with Rise until someone in that group has a readable percentage. The count covers questions the package recorded. A dash means the package recorded none or there is no saved result.
Score shows the percentage score when the package reports one. A dash means there is no readable score for that learner. A reported score can be 0%.
Last Active shows when the package last saved for that learner. For learners in the In Progress group, it shows the days since the last save and turns amber after more than 14 days. On a computer, hover over it to see the date and time.
The summary shows how many learners started the package. When percentages are available, it shows average progress, average score and progress ranges. Otherwise it shows how many learners were scored, their average score and score ranges. The score chart shows the pass mark when there are scores and the package supplies one. Averages use only learners with the relevant figure.
In the first example, Jamie’s package is Completed at 80% progress with an 84% score. In the second, the package shows questions answered and a score where available.
Check One Learner’s SCORM Results in Their Registration
Select the learner in the SCORM results table, or open the course’s Registrants tab and select their Registration. For a blended course, check the date if the learner has more than one place.
In the Registration panel, expand Progress, then expand the section containing the lesson.
Look for the named SCORM package under the published lesson. The row shows its status and any available percentage or question count, and a score if the package reports one.
The SCORM row is a read-only summary. In this example, Jamie’s lesson is In Progress while the package is Completed at 80%. If the lesson has a recorded start and the package has no saved result, its row shows Not Started. An unopened lesson with no saved package result can have no SCORM row. Use the course Progress tab to see learners who are Not Started for a package.
If you cannot find a package in either view, check that it is still in a published lesson. For older attempts, a saved result can appear in the learner’s Registration while it is missing from the course table. Check both places before assuming there is no result.
How SCORM Completion Relates to Lesson and Course Completion
The SCORM status describes the package. Cademy tracks the lesson separately. Once all required work in the lesson is complete, the learner uses Complete & Continue or Mark as Completed to finish the lesson. Check the lesson status in the same Registration. The online lesson percentage is based on how many published lessons are marked complete. A blended course can show Online portion complete when the learner finishes its online lessons. For overall course completion, see Check Whether a Learner Has Completed a Course.
If the learner still cannot finish, see Fix SCORM Loading or Progress Problems. To check the package’s completion setting or how the package was added, see Add SCORM Learning Content. For progress across lessons, see See Each Learner’s Lesson Progress in a Course.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I see SCORM completion if the lesson shows Not Started?
Check the package result on the course’s Progress tab. If a package already has saved results, its row can still appear in the Registration after someone resets the lesson status. The report shows the current saved package result. If the course table shows no saved result for the learner, also check their Registration. The report has no history of lesson status changes.
Can I see a learner’s individual SCORM answers?
The report shows the number of answers the package recorded when that figure is available. Individual answers stay private.
Can I export SCORM results or save a filtered results view?
The SCORM results table has no export or saved views. You can use the status filters, select a range in the chart or search for a learner while viewing the table.
