Introduction

As a creator on Cademy, it's essential to understand how and when you'll receive your payouts for the courses and events you host on our platform. In this article, we'll provide a comprehensive overview of Cademy's payout process, including the different payout methods, payout schedules, and important considerations.

Payout Methods

Cademy offers two primary payout methods: Stripe and PayPal.

Stripe Payouts (Recommended)

We highly recommend using Stripe as your payment processor due to its numerous advantages:

  • ✅ Instant Payment Reflection: Payments are instantly reflected in your Stripe account upon receiving an order.

  • ✅ Flexible Payout Schedule: You can set your own payout schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, or manual) through your Stripe account settings.

  • ✅ Diverse Payment Options: Customers can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and even opt for instalments via Klarna.

To set up or modify your Stripe payout schedule, simply log in to your Stripe account and navigate to the payout settings.

To link your Cademy account to your Stripe account, click on the Apps menu from the admin dashboard and select Stripe. Alternatively, you can access the direct link: https://admin.cademy.io/apps/stripe

PayPal Payouts

Similar to Stripe, if you use PayPal as your payment processor, you can manage your payout schedule directly through your PayPal account. Payouts will be visible in your account immediately upon receiving an order.

To integrate PayPal with your Cademy account, follow the steps provided in the PayPal setup guide.

Important: We do not support bank payouts. Please use Stripe or PayPal for all payout needs.

Refunds and Cancellations

If a booking is cancelled, the full price will be refunded to the student, and Cademy will also refund any applicable fees. This ensures that creators are not penalised for cancellations beyond their control.

Conclusion

Understanding Cademy’s payout process is crucial for creators to effectively manage their earnings and plan their finances. We offer Stripe and PayPal payout options and strongly recommend using Stripe for its instant payment reflection, flexible payout schedule, and diverse payment options.
