Use this guide to log in to the Admin Dashboard and manage a course provider account, including its courses, contacts, orders or settings. You need a Cademy login with access to that business account. Logging in does not itself grant business access. The same Cademy login can also open your Student Profile, the learner side of Cademy.
Business account: A course provider account you have been given admin access to. Its name appears under Admin Dashboard in My Account.
Open the Admin Dashboard
Go to admin.cademy.io. If you are already logged in, check that the business account shown is the one you want to manage.
If the Cademy login page opens, enter the email address that has access to the business account, then select Continue.
Complete the login method shown for your account: a password, a 6-digit email code, Google, Facebook or your organisation’s login page. Each one is explained in the next section.
After you log in, Cademy returns you to the Admin Dashboard. If you manage more than one business account, you can switch accounts as explained below. If the business account is missing, use the checks below.
Important: You must use an email address that has admin access to the business account. You do not need to be a System Admin to open the Admin Dashboard, but your role controls which areas and actions you can use.
Choose how you log in
The options shown depend on how your Cademy login is set up.
Log in with a password
From the Admin Dashboard login page, enter your email address and select Continue.
When the password screen opens, enter your password and select Log in & Continue. After you log in, Cademy returns you to the Admin Dashboard.
On this screen, Email me a code instead lets you use an email code. Forgot password? starts a password reset. These are separate options, explained below.
Log in with an email code
From the Admin Dashboard login page, enter your email address and select Continue.
If your login uses email codes, the code screen opens directly. If a password screen opens instead, select Email me a code instead.
Check the email address shown on the code screen, then open the email in that inbox with the subject “Your one-time login code - Cademy”. Enter its code in Enter 6-digit code and select Log In. After you log in, Cademy returns you to the Admin Dashboard.
If the email address is wrong, select Change Email on the code screen and enter the correct address. If the email has not arrived, check your spam folder. Select request a new one when the countdown finishes if you still need a code.
If Cademy says the login attempt has expired or is no longer valid and shows Request New Code, select it. The code-entry field returns; enter the code from the email and select Log In.
Reset a forgotten password
Open the Admin Dashboard login page, enter your email address and select Continue. On the password screen, select Forgot password?.
On Reset Password, check the email address shown. Open the email sent to that address with the subject “Cademy verification code”. It contains your reset code.
Enter New Password. Use at least 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, a number and a special character.
Enter the same password in Confirm New Password, then enter the email’s reset code in Reset Code (from email). Select Reset Password.
After the message Your password has been reset, check the email address on the login screen and select Continue. If the password screen opens, enter your new password and select Log in & Continue. If the email-code screen opens, enter the code sent for this login and select Log In.
If Cademy requires a password reset while you are logging in and opens Reset Password directly, start at step 2. If the email is missing, check the displayed address and your spam folder. If the reset still fails, contact Cademy Support at support@cademy.io with the email address and exact error, but not the code or password.
If Set a New Password opens
This is different from Reset Password: it does not ask for an emailed reset code. Enter New Password and Confirm New Password, using the same password requirements above, then select Set Password to continue logging in.
Use Google, Facebook or your organisation’s login
If you use Google or Facebook for your Cademy login, open the Admin Dashboard login page and select Google or Facebook on the first screen. Complete that provider’s login using the account connected to the email address that has access to the business account.
If your email address is connected to an organisation’s single sign-on, entering it and selecting Continue opens that organisation’s login page. Single sign-on means your organisation manages this login. Complete its login to return to Cademy. Ask your organisation’s IT team for help with its password or login requirements.
Log in from Cademy or a course provider website
Go to cademy.io or the Cademy website belonging to a course provider.
Select Log in.
Enter the email address connected to your business account, select Continue, then complete the login method shown.
If the Admin Dashboard opens, you are finished. If you return to the website instead, select My Account.
Under Admin Dashboard, select the name of the business account you want to manage. The Admin Dashboard opens in a new browser tab.
Switch between business accounts and your Student Profile
Switch to another business account
From inside the Admin Dashboard:
Open the account menu by selecting the current business name or logo in the sidebar.
Under Switch Account, select the business account you want to open.
From a Cademy page that shows My Account, such as your Student Profile or a course provider’s website, select My Account, then select the required business name under Admin Dashboard.
For choosing between business accounts already available to your login, see the guide to switching between business accounts.
Open your Student Profile
Your Student Profile contains courses you attend and bookings or orders connected to you as a learner or customer. It is separate from business administration.
From inside the Admin Dashboard, open the account menu, then select Student Profile.
From a Cademy page that shows My Account:
Select My Account.
Under Student Profile, select My Courses & Bookings.
For help finding learner courses and bookings, follow Log In and Find Courses You Are Attending or Bookings You Made.
Return to the Admin Dashboard
On the Cademy page showing your Student Profile, select My Account.
Under Admin Dashboard, select the business account you want to manage. Its Admin Dashboard opens in a new browser tab. If the business account is not listed, use the checks below.
If your business account is missing or you still cannot log in
Check that you logged in with the same email address that was invited to the business account.
If you have more than one Cademy login, log out and log in again with the correct email address.
If Complete Sign Up appears when you expected an existing login, check the email address before creating another login. Select Change email. to return to the email step.
If the Admin Dashboard shows You Don't Have Access To This Educator or You Don't Have Access To Any Educators, “educator” means a business account here. Check the email shown after You are logged in with. If it is wrong, select Logout and log in with the email that has business access. If your business account is listed under Select one of your educators to continue, select it. Do not select Create An Educator to recover an existing business account.
If you can already open a business account’s Admin Dashboard, open the account menu and select My Profile to check your email. If it is wrong, reopen the account menu, select Log Out and log in with the correct address.
If you are in your Student Profile instead, open My Account and check the email at the top. Select Log out if it is wrong, then return to the Admin Dashboard and log in with the correct address.
If the address is correct and the business account is still missing:
Ask a System Admin for that business account to confirm that you still have access and that the correct email address is assigned to you.
Ask the System Admin to open Users & Facilitators, use the Status filter to check Archived users and reactivate the correct user if appropriate. For complete steps, see Archive and Reactivate a User or Facilitator.
If the access is correct but the business account is still missing, contact Cademy Support at support@cademy.io with the business name, login email and exact message or screen shown. Do not send passwords or codes.
If Connection Problem appears, Cademy could not check your session. Check your internet connection and select Try Again. If you still cannot log in after the relevant checks in this guide, contact Cademy Support at support@cademy.io with your login email and exact error. Do not include a password or code.
Staying logged in
Your browser can keep you logged in for up to 30 days. You may need to log in again sooner if you select Log Out, clear your browser data, use a private browsing window or your session can no longer be renewed.
Frequently asked questions
What is the direct Admin Dashboard address?
Go to admin.cademy.io. If you are not already logged in, Cademy asks you to log in first.
Do I use different login details for the Admin Dashboard and Student Profile?
No. Use the same Cademy login. Access to each business account depends on the email address and admin access assigned to you.
Why can I not see the business account?
You may be logged in with a different email address, or your admin access may not be active. Ask a System Admin for the business account to check your access.
How do I switch between business accounts?
Select My Account on a Cademy page that shows it and choose a business name under Admin Dashboard. From inside the Admin Dashboard, open the account menu and choose another business account under Switch Account.
Can I log in without a password?
Yes. After entering your email address, select Email me a code instead if the password screen opens. Enter the 6-digit code from the email, then select Log In.
What should I do if I forgot my password?
Select Forgot password? on the password screen and follow the instructions to reset it.
How do I change the email address used for my business account?
Follow How to Update the Email Address in Your Business Account.
What if I cannot access my login email?
Email-code login and password reset need access to the mailbox shown. Contact Cademy Support at support@cademy.io with your current login email and business name so the access problem can be reviewed. Do not create a replacement business account to recover access.
What should I do if I still cannot log in?
Confirm that you are using the correct email address, try the password or email-code option available to you, then contact Cademy Support at support@cademy.io if the problem continues.
